Tele tower business
Telecom business is on the rise in India and everywhere in the world. The growth seen in India over the last 5 years has been tremendous and this is poised to increase even further as tele density increases and the phones reach rural areas.
GTL a telecommunication company in the business of cell tower rent and leasing announced its alliance with Ericsson UK for imporving the MNI activities of the company.
GTL had earned a big 1000 crore profit in the last two years with their tie with other UK carriers. The exact amount of business this tie-up is going to generate is unknown, but it could be anywhere from 90m pounds to 120 million.
The main strategy would be for Ericsson to outsource their activity to the Indian company and get the work done at a cheaper price.
